Rich Lau builds technology organizations that turn ambitious ideas into products customers depend on. Currently VP of AI Strategy & Enablement at NiCE, he works to translate AI opportunities into practical business value, bringing more than 20 years of experience leading engineering teams, building enterprise platforms, and guiding technology change across industries.

At Omnicell, Rich led global AI transformation after serving as VP of Software Engineering for its flagship software products. His teams built the cloud and edge platforms connecting automated dispensing systems, pharmacy robotics, and clinical workflows — technology clinicians relied on as part of their daily work. Earlier, at Honeywell, he led teams modernizing building and fire safety technology through connected platforms. At CA Technologies, he rose to VP of Software Engineering, helped move the organization from 18-month release cycles to monthly deployments, and built cloud management products used by large enterprises.

Across these roles, Rich has scaled teams across continents, contributed to more than a dozen patents, and developed a leadership philosophy grounded in a simple truth: a bold vision matters, but so do reliability, adoption, and the people who depend on what you build.
